The synergy between EDU4Standards.eu and SEEBLOCKS.eu represents a dynamic collaboration in the field of standardisation education. EDU4Standards.eu, a European Horizon Europe-funded research project launched in January 2024, brings together key stakeholders including universities, higher education institutes, standardisation bodies, associations, and SMEs to advance five strategic objectives in standardisation education. The collaboration between these projects has been marked by significant activities, including SEEBLOCKS.eu's presentation at an EDU4Standards.eu meeting, a joint webinar in March 2024, and the integration of materials and tools between the projects. Notably, EDU4Standards.eu content has been incorporated into SEEBLOCKS.eu's Standards Visualisation Tool, which has in turn been integrated into partner websites. Future plans involve the incorporation of EDU4Standards.eu's conceptual outcomes into SEEBLOCKS.eu's teaching materials and the application of SEEBLOCKS.eu's roadmapping expertise to EDU4Standards.eu's context. Additional opportunities for collaboration include utilizing EDU4Standards.eu's Academic Standards Days for joint communication activities and implementing the Standards Visualisation Tool in new standardisation courses. This partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both projects, enhancing standardisation education and awareness across Europe through shared resources, expertise, and platforms, ultimately contributing to the development of a more cohesive and comprehensive approach to standardisation education in the European Union.
