The Digital and Distance Education Department of the Politehnica University of Timișoara has managed distance and part-time education within the university for over 25 years, while also offering online courses and consulting services in digital education and online learning, developing virtual and mixed reality applications, and as well integrating blockchain in education. It also developed the award-winning Virtual Campus within the UPT and the UniCampus platform, the first academic MOOC in Romania.
SEEBLOCKS.eu is collaborating with the Department by providing an in-person course in blockchain standardisation.
