Standardisation can help research projects make their solutions available to interested parties and the industry. Standardisation might be a valuable knowledge transfer channel and tool for valorising and disseminating research results. There are many reasons why researchers need standards and how they could benefit from using them and from participating in standards development. 

This training session aims to bring standardisation closer to those without prior knowledge of standardisation. By using interactive approaches, the training will help active participants find answers to the following questions:
