techBREK network & learn: Harnessing the potential of Blockchain and Digital Assets

Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet on September 19th, 2023, will hold a Networking event between 08:00 and 10:00 AM at Ibec’s Dublin city centre office, to spread awareness about the potential of blockchain and Digital Assets.

The event entitled ‘techBREK network & learn: Harnessing the potential of Blockchain and Digital Assets’ is part of the European year Skills 2023 and will be held in collaboration with International Financial Services (IFS) Skillnet, and Technology Ireland Ibec. It will support the EU’s involvement in standardisation given the predicted increase in revenue for industries in financial services and beyond, coming from the use of blockchains, digital assets, and/or cryptocurrency solutions.  

This event is for business and senior technical professionals in financial services. It will provide updates on digital financial services, ensuring businesses are informed about current developments. The forum will encourage discussions enriched by both financial and technical expertise.

SEEBLOCKS.eu at the Event 

Dublin City University (DCU) participated at the event on behalf of the SEEBLOCKS.eu project. The forum represented a great opportunity to showcase our project and to create valuable connections for future synergies and collaboration. In particular, we had the chance to involve researchers in the financial sector in our calls, and to build in financial services officers, an interest in standardisation processes.
