NEXT is an EU-funded project designed to bridge the digital skills gap across various sectors by equipping professionals, especially those outside IT, with essential competencies in digital technologies. Recognizing the rapid pace of digital transformation, NEXT addresses the unique challenges of working with digital tools, such as understanding mental health impacts, legal considerations, and the broader implications of technology adoption. The project particularly emphasizes skills in Blockchain, identified through extensive analysis as a high-demand area in the EU and Ukraine. Through these efforts, NEXT aims to foster a more digitally resilient workforce, capable of navigating the evolving job market.

The collaboration between NEXT and SEEBLOCKS.eu began with the integration of SEEBLOCKS resources into NEXT’s educational materials to strengthen training in standardisation and Blockchain. SEEBLOCKS materials, including the Standards Visualisation Tool, are now accessible within NEXT’s resources, offering participants valuable insights into standardisation. Future plans involve joint efforts, such as webinars and workshops, to enhance digital skills and promote standardisation knowledge across Europe.
